About

The Pickleheart Community

The North Meadows courts are one of New York City’s great pickleball destinations.

Tucked inside Central Park, these public courts draw regulars, newcomers, and everyone in between. If you play here, you already know the community is real — it just hasn’t always had a digital home.

That’s what this is.

The Central Park – Pickleheart Community is where North Meadows players connect online. Find out what’s happening at the courts, meet other regulars, and stay in the loop — whether you play every morning or whenever the weather breaks.

The heartbeat of this community has always lived at the courts. We’re just here to keep it going when you’re not there.

Already part of Upper West Side Pickleball? Great — so are we! This is an additional, free resource for you too.

Community Rules

We follow all the rules established by the Upper West Side Pickleball Community
Place your paddle on the stack shelf to enter the queue. The stack closest to the top is up next.
Games are played to 11.
After your game, exit the court and reenter the stack to play again.
Use the walkways behind the courts when entering or exiting. Do not walk across the courts unless necessary.
There are cracks in the main courts. If your serve hits one of the cracks, then replay the point. If a shot during play hits a crack, then play through it.
