Selkirk Sport’s story is about family passion for pickleball, starting in 2014 with brothers Mike & Rob Barnes and their father Jim, aiming to elevate the sport with high-performance, USA-made gear, becoming a leading brand by focusing on innovation, quality (offering industry-first lifetime warranties), and deep community connection, even signing major pro players like Jack Sock.
They chose the name from the local Selkirk Mountains for a strong, local identity, and grew from a small startup to an industry leader, driven by player feedback and a “We Are Pickleball” ethos.
